Great historic bar & grill

The caesar salad was good, though it could have used some more dressing - or more flavor in the dressing, maybe? The onion rings were both crunchy and chewy, an interesting combination. Very good.

Food was great. Fish and chips, grilled cheese, and Reuben sandwich were all delicious. Fries were amazing and they even brought out extra fish since one of the pieces were small.

Great spot!

The steak sandwich was fantastic. Well seasoned steak with mayo and fried onions on a sub roll.

Overall a good experience and if they weren't so busy I believe the service would have been much better.

Loved the town of St. Helen's, so cute and quaint! I visited during the Spirit of Halloweentown festivities, and the town was decked out for Halloween. I went on a week night, so missed things like the hayride and other events, but still great! Almost every home and business is decorated, it feels like some homes are competing for best decorations! We wanted to stop to eat at the famous "Haunted Klondike" restaurant, which is also decorated. The food was very good, the apple crisp is a must! So delicious! Our waitress was very busy (she was the only waitress on duty), but she was very nice. She was bubbly and friendly, still made you feel like her only table...anticipating needs, checking on us, small talk here and there. It was really fantastic, even if I saw no ghosts.

All in all, good service, good food, and good prices. I'll be back if I'm in the area again

Just ate here for the first time and it's an awesome joint for burgers and deli sandwiches. The only reason why I could think that your fries would be greasy or cold is because you sat down and ended up talking too much. So don't forget get it while it's hot. And I highly recommend their sweet potato fries over their regular fries.

I was passing through and stopped in for a quick lunch. They have a wide variety of good looking food. Steaks and chicken, burgers and sandwiches, mixed drinks and desserts. I got the steak sandwich with a salad and some onion rings. I was hoping for fried oysters but they were out.

I also got some bread pudding to go, which was delicious with the caramel sauce on top.

Restaurant was busy during Halloween town season and the service suffered significantly. Drinks took over 30 minutes to come and food was well over an hour after we were seated. This was after waiting over half an hour to be seated.
