These guys are Awesome! I was super relieved, surprised and amazed by their services! Not only were they professional & kind while I was in crisis mode about my laptop, they didn't charge me for diagnosing it! I was ready to pay them because their rates are way more affordable than what I'm used to. All they need is a tip jar :)

Buying your wife a computer that will slowly break down and become unusable: $1200.

Finally, after we have just completed a move across the country, the computer has begun turning itself off. We've noticed a burning smell coming out of the computer. Will require additional investigation of course, but it's just one more mess involving a computer I've been sorry to own almost since day one. Fairly sure we're just going to replace it at this point.

Great

As soon as we got the computer home, it became apparent that we'd received the result of a rush job. Not only had they installed world of Warcraft on the smaller hard drive (less than 200 gb, intended for the operating system primarily), the additional 1 tb hard drive had not even been added to Windows yet. Luckily I could do this myself. Small problem easily fixed, until the 1 tb hard drive died of hardware failure a few months later.

I also quickly realized that the computer's usb 3.0 ports didn't work at all. They appear to be hooked up inside the machine, so combined with what I now know about the 1 tb hard drive they selected, I am suspicious that St. Helens Computer Center was offloading some dud parts on us. Further adding to this suspicion is that even though the usb 2.0 ports work for peripherals, the entire computer freezes when trying to read a usb stick. Imagine if you will the horror of being given real estate documents to read on a usb stick only to find out that your computer can never read them (thank goodness for our Microsoft surface which read the stick with no problem.)

This is a very great place to go to

I was very excited to finally buy my wife a gaming computer. She's a big world of Warcraft fan, and an upcoming expansion was raising the bar on graphics beyond her current computer's abilities. I was glad we found a local place that would surely give us a better experience than a larger business.

It's quick and easy

Losing faith in local businesses forever: priceless.
