I'm giving 5 stars, simply because of the service I received from a young man named Chris. I went in to find a box fan. Chris was stocking shelves. I asked him where I could find the fans. I expected that, at most, he would point in that direction and send me on my way. He did not do that. Instead, he escorted me back to the hardware department. He saw that there were no fans on the shelf. He said he knew some had just come in on a truck and that he would go back and get one for me if I would like him to. He did not once act as if helping me was an inconvenience. If I received this kind is service every time I went to Walmart, I would not shop anywhere else.
Almost all of the cashiers have been replaced by self checkout lanes. I am not sure how that impacts the unemployment rate here in our small town. I kind of like having a person to interact with while at the checkout counter. However, there are plenty employees standing around looking bored if you have any questions. All of the isles have also been moved around. They don't seem to be any wider so I don't see the purpose except for now I have to walk up and down every isle to find my usual grocery items. The pharmacy is amazing! I'm satisfied 99% of the time I have to get my prescriptions refilled. Overall customer service is pretty good. No complaints in the department!
Didn't appreciate my family being followed around the store. We weren't dressed weird or doing anything out of the ordinary while we were there we were just having fun walking through the store shopping. I know being late at night people get more on guard, but maybe don't be open that late if you are going to stalk customers isle to isle.

I love the employees, when you can get their attention. The product is getting better or maybe the variety is getting better. I like the changes they did.
Needs way more product availability and the customer service lacks any sense of caring or joy in their job. Very lackluster. Manager isn't very helpful either. A revamping of customer service skills is much needed.
